The secret is in the formula
We started with a frustration.
Sports drinks full of sugar. Supplements with endless lists of ingredients. Formulas that promised too much and explained too little.
We couldn't find a product in Spain that offered superior quality hydration, with top-notch ingredients and no additives.
So we decided to create the formula we were looking for.
Andrés Blumer
Founder
By the age of 30, after years of living between New York and Madrid, Andrés had tried practically every wellness protocol imaginable. Sauna, ice baths, infrared light, supplements... Among them all, there was one that always worked: electrolytes. Not just for training, but for better recovery, maintaining energy, and performing throughout the day.
The problem arose when he returned to Spain. He couldn't find a single product that met his criteria: a clean formula, sugar-free, without unnecessary additives, and with the right amounts of sodium, potassium, and magnesium. He started by importing ingredients, then mixing them himself at home for his own consumption. That homemade formula was eventually validated with a team of nutritionists and led to LIT: hydration designed for daily life, not just for sports.
Our Journey
- 2024 The idea Andrés gets tired of bringing electrolyte boxes from outside Spain. He decides to make his own.
- 2025 The launch LIT Hydration España S.L. A decision on every ingredient: no sugar, no dyes, no small print.
